Creative Process

The distinctive unique nature of Grafokids infographics is the freehand drawing digitally painted with colours which aim to fascinate and capture the attention of children. These attractive images, integrated with texts and patterns, encourage them to read and then facilitate the understanding and lead to the learning of the contents.

1. Research: search for information about specific themes or topics through different material and digital sources (books, encyclopedia, texts, websites, online encyclopedia, etc.).

2. Information filtering: selection of the main contents in relation to the complexity of the theme, the reference age of the children and any requests from school programmes or teachers.

3. Schematic conceptualization: synthesis of contents and concepts through texts, schemes, graphs and diagrams.

4. Hand draw and digital painting: creation of hand drawings that graphically conceptualize the selected contents, layout and digital painting of illustrations through graphic processing programmes.

5. Integration of information: insertion of texts, schemes and diagrams in images and creation of an educational tool based on graphic visualization.

6. Infographic: result of this creative process.
